She was predeceased by: her husband William P. Griffin; her parents, Bernard F. Burns, and Josphine Burns, Sr. (Hicks); her son Christopher Griffin; and her brother Bernard F. Burns, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Joanna Signore (Adam) and Joshua Griffin (Susan Hicks); her grandchildren, Sean, Brendan, Chloe Griffin and Isabella Signore; her sister Joyce Leibowitz; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine McCarthy and Mary "Liz" Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
