In the sacred silence of farewell, Lorraine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lorraine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Gomes; and her parents, Manuel Dias and Virginia Dias (Mosher). She is survived by: her children, Lori Jones (William) of Florida, Cindy Torres (John) of East Providence, Bill Gomes of East Providence and Christopher Gomes (Lauren) of Rehoboth; and her brother Manuel Dias (Brenda) of Riverside. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (81 N Carpenter St, East Providence, RI 02914).
