He was predeceased by: his parents, Sinclair F. Wilbur and Elizabeth Wilbur (Connors); his wife Marcia McCabe Wilbur; his brother Edward S. Wilbur; and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen McCabe Cannon.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Alice Wilbur-Daly; his son-in-law Dr. Brian P. Daly of Providence; his grandson John McCabe Daly of Providence; his siblings, Nancy Wilbur Connor (Kevin) of Vero Beach, Florida and William B. Wilbur (Jill) of Rye; and his brother-in-law Dr. Francis J. McCabe, Jr. (Paola) of Cushing. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home (210 Taunton Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Sebastian Church (67 Cole Ave, Providence, RI 02906). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at the Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
