We are sad to announce that, on December 22, 2025, Phyllis F. Araujo (East Providence, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Gomes and Mary Gomes (Fortes); and her brothers, Bernard Fortes and Henry Fortes. She is survived by: her children, Christine McCoy (William) and Antonio Araujo, III (Gina); and her siblings, John Fortes, Gwendolyn Fortes, Julia Rollins and Beatrice Gomes. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Childrens Hospital would be deeply appreciated.
