He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Salgueiro (Januario); his parents, Adelino Salgueiro and Natalie Salgueiro (Luiz); his son Stephen R. Salgueiro; his granddaughter Juanita Anthony; his son-in-law William D. Jewett; and his siblings, Joseph Salgueiro, Louis Salgueiro, Richard Salgueiro and Olympia Hunter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia M. Jewett of Rehoboth and Cheryl A. Salgueiro of Riverside; his granddaughters, Michelle M. Salgueiro of Nova Scotia and Stephanie R. Salgueiro of Warren; and his brother Farrell Salgueiro. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
