He was predeceased by: his parents, Donat Roy and Therese Roy (Hamel); his son Ronald L. Roy, Jr.; his grandson David Harrison, Jr.; and his siblings, Carol Benevides and Donat E. "Don" Roy, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Bobola (Ronald) of Warwick, Karen Bereznicki (John) of Arkansas, Robert Roy (Sue-Ann) of Rehoboth and Amy Roy (David Mackay) of Riverside; and his siblings, Irene Kelsall, Eleanor Livingston and Edmond Roy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914).
