He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Chaplin and Florence Chaplin (Wagenknecht); and his daughter Jill Marie Chaplin. He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Chaplin (Rashed); his children, Dawn C. Vierra (James) and David W. Chaplin; and his brother Harry L. Chaplin of Ohio. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). The military honors will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heifer International or Operation Smile.
