He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco C. Vacca and Anna Vacca; and his siblings, Charles R. Vacca, Virginia Pierce and Mary Gamache.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dee" Vacca (Van Patten); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Rocco, Riley and Eloise. He is also survived by family.
