She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Larchevesque and Dorothy Larchevesque (Wilcox); and her sister Shirley Walling. She is survived by: her husband Frederick "Billy" Hoppe, Sr.; her children, Kevin Hoppe (Jane) of Osterville, MA, Frederick Hoppe, Jr. (Diane) of Forestdale and Bethanie Clifford (Andrew) of Dunedin, FL; her grandchildren, Tessa, Pamela, Melissa, Emily, Brandon, Jillian, Kia and Cotey; her great grandchildren, Adeline, Charlotte and Alexander; and her pet Angel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of North Smithfield Animal Shelter, PO Box 653, Slatersville, RI 02876, in honor of Barbara's love for animals.
