Martin E. Toohey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martin E. Toohey of Foster, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Martin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Toohey and Anna Toohey (Gannon); and his siblings, Thomas J. Toohey, Jr., Nancy Kiernan, Helen Toohey and James B. Toohey.
He is survived by: his wife Helen C. Toohey (Murray); and his sister Evelyn Toohey of Cranston. He is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to St. Paul the Apostle Church or Little sisters of the Poor, Pawtucket.
