He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman W. and Mary V. Rego (Salema); his siblings, Ruth Lopes and Robert Rego; and his nephew Christopher Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Rego (Peltier); his daughters, Kimberly and Sheri Rego; his brother Herman Rego Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Santilli, Robert Lopes, Michael Lopes, Christopher Cummings, Robert Cummings, Jason Cyr, Jonathan Cyr, David Petrarca, Stephen Petrarca, Michael Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Nicholas Peltier, Andrew Peltier, Shanon Nunnelley and Melissa Nunnelley.
