She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick T. Hanna and Ruth I. Hanna (Phillips); her son Kenneth P. Carlson; and her brother Frederick Hanna. She is survived by: her husband Walter N. Marx, Jr.; her sons, Edward D. Carlson (Janine) of East Greenwich, Richard A. Carlson (Susan) of Swansea, MA and Daniel T. Carlson (Mallory) of Johnston; and her stepchildren, Craig, Linda, Nicky and Cathy. She is also survived by three grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
