She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Trapper Kratt, Jr.; her parents, George E. Johnson and Anna June Johnson (Engel); her daughter Kathy Messier (Kratt); and her sister Georgeann Hepburn (Johnson).
She is survived by: her children, Robin Shields and A. Trapper Kratt, III; her son-in-law William Shields; her grandchildren, Robert (Jennifer), Brian (Jessica), William, Margaret, Timothy, Mary-Catherine Shields (Kylee), Marc Messier and Karli Kratt; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Avery, Chase, Camden (Salisbury), Fiona, Seamus, Owen and Parker Shields.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
