With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas R. McLaughlin (Greenville, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. McLaughlin and Adeline R. McLaughlin (Hammond); his grandchild Thomas III; and his siblings, Charles McLaughlin, Florence Tambini, William McLaughlin, Joan Cavanaugh and Veronica Olson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary E. McLaughlin (Naylor); his children, Thomas R. McLaughlin Jr., Michael T. McLaughlin (Gina) and Karin A. French (McLaughlin); his grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Shane; and his siblings, Mary Kinsey, James McLaughlin, Stephen McLaughlin, Robert McLaughlin and Arlene Oakley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
