He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Baker and Mabel Baker (Williams); and his sister Faith Baker Rasmusson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Baker (Richardson); his children, Deborah Peloquin (Marc) of Woonsocket, Bruce of Harrisville, Kevin Baker of Harrisville, Jeffrey Baker (Angela) of Harrisville, Cheryl Baker of Woonsocket and Mark Baker (Julie) of Harrisville; and his daughter-in-law Betty Baker of North Smithfield. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
