He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Closterman and Patricia Closterman. He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Closterman and Justine Gamache (Dylan); his brother Jay Closterman (Teri); his nieces and nephews, Ashley and William; and his close friend Jeff Archambault.

Justine and Sarah, who he often referred to as his greatest contribution to this world, were his pride and joy and he was endlessly proud of them.
