Robert T. Nunes Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Robert T. Nunes of Hope Valley, Rhode Island. Robert, born on December 16, 1944, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Robert for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Robert’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nunes and Dorothy Nunes (Matoes); and his sisters, Joyce Beauregard and Nancy Moorehead. He is survived by: his wife June L. Nunes (Bitgood); his sons, Justin R. Nunes (Kristen) and James R. Nunes; his grandchildren, Connor and Hayley; and his sister Ellen O'Connell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the S. R. Avery Funeral Home (3a Bank St, Hope Valley, RI 02832).
