He is survived by: his children, Joel Martin Niemi Jr. (Kerron) of Scituate, RI and Brittany Olney (James) of Burrillville, RI; his sister Judith Gallagher (George) of Scituate, RI.; and his grandsons, Dylan Niemi, Gabriel Niemi, Aidan Niemi, James Olney and Wyatt Olney.
