It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Robert Sherman Sr. of Hopkinton, Rhode Island, born in Wakefield, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his spouse Shirley L. Sherman (Turgeon); and his parents, Robert Sherman and Eva Sherman (Abbey). He is survived by : his children, George Sherman, Jr. (Karen), Catherine Rogers (Dale), Audura Pagliarini (Michael), Frederick Sherman (Stacey) and Daniel Sherman (Erica Martira); and his sister-in-law Pearl Turgeon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
