He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Kusic Allphin of Jamestown; his parents, Willard Allphin and Catherine Washburn Allphin; his brother Kendall; his children, Richard "Dickie" Allphin and Sarah "Sally" Allphin; and the mother of his children Martha N. Allphin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sondra Allphin (Ernie Boyer) of California and Nancy Allphin of Massachusetts.
