Samuel A. Manchester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel A. Manchester (Jamestown, Rhode Island), born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton T., Sr. and Ruth E. Manchester (Parker); his wife Barbara Morse-Manchester (Ames); and his stepchildren, Brenda F. Crawley (Ronald), Donna M. Hanks (Michael) and Robert E. Morse.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Frank E. Morse (Lillian), Ritchie F. Morse (Leslie), Randy A. Morse (Debra) and Tammy L. Olszewski (Frank); and his stepdaughter-in-law Holly Morse. He is also survived by family, which includes nineteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Cemetery (99 Cedar Ln, Jamestown, RI 02835).
