He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Kaercher and Mildred Kaercher; and his wife Phyllis M. Kaercher. He is survived by: his children, Walter Kaercher, Jr. (Kori), Marisa Esposito and John Esposito (Melody); and his granddaughters, Mariana Santiago, Alexa Esposito (Sammi Myers) and Haley Kaercher.
