He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Gandelman and Doris Gandelman (Beider). He is survived by: his wife Claudia Gandelman (Pezza); his siblings, Beth I. Gandelman of Salisbury, MA and Bruce J. Gandelman of Newport; his siblings-in-law, Rocco, Karen Pezza of Chepachet, Laura, Stephen Petrozzi of North Scituate, Pamela, Daniel Fagan of North Scituate, Carla Thomson (late Matt Thomson) of Glocester, Joseph Jr. and Jennifer Pezza of Glocester; his parents-in-law, Claudette and Richard Hohlmaier of North Scituate; and his siblings' children, Justin, Jared, Jenna Pezza, Stephen, Nicholas Petrozzi, Samantha, Sabrina, Sean, Shane Fagan, Cameron, Meghan, Cassie Thomson, Alexandria and Joseph III.
