He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Mekuto (Parrillo); his parents, Alfred Mekuto Sr. and Philomena Mekuto (Testa); and his siblings, Louise Renzi, Barbara DiBiasio, Anna Marietti and Anthony Mekuto Sr..

He is survived by: his son Alfred Mekuto III; his granddaughter Alexa Mekuto; and his daughter-in-law Joan Mekuto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
