He is survived by: his wife Betty J Thompson (Nickerson); his children, Sondra Thompson-Arnold and Mark D Thompson (Deloris Thompson); his grandchildren, Janie-Alice Thompson and Mark-Anthony Thompson; his siblings, Dr. Felix Grissom (Myra Grissom) of Maryland and Zehra Barros of Ithaca, NY; and his stepsisters, Michelle Cunningham (John Wesley Cunningham, Jr.) of Georgia and Wilmette Santos (Frank Santos, Jr). He is also survived by nieces, nephewsand a host of cousins.
