She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Cardente; her parents, Sherwood Butler and Florence Butler (Walls); and her son James Sampson. She is survived by: her children, Dean Sampson of Alabama, Michael Salvati of North Providence and Jeffrey Cardente (Corinne) of Cranston; her grandchildren, James, Nicole, Autumn and Cailyn; her great grandchildren, Zayne, Brielle, Colson, Atlas, Juliette and Cameron; and her siblings, Gayle Johnson of Conneticut and Peter Butler.
