Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Esther Helen Nero of Johnston, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 96, on January 19, 2026. In the vast expanse of eternity, Esther shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Esther farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Nero; and her parents, Edmond Procaccianti and Mildred Procaccianti. She is survived by: her children, Aldo Merlino (Gina) of Cranston, Sandra Merlino of Florida and Robbin Marsland of Johnston. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
