She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Sugrue; her parents, James Edward Eason and Mozelle Creech Eason; and her siblings, Joyce Thornton, Lolita Godwin, Shirley Parker, Judy Buffkin, James and David Eason.
She is survived by: her daughter Dena Lucia (Jack) of Foster; her grandchildren, Jessyka, Nicole and Jack A. Lucia; her daughter Susan Johnson; her granddaughter Rayna L'Europa; her great grandchild Michael Bogda; and her sisters, Wanda Langdon of Dunn, NC and Jennifer Ferrell of Stedman, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
