Jacqueline C. Martin Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Jacqueline C. Martin of Johnston, Rhode Island. Jacqueline passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Martin; her parents, Herminio Borges and Regina Borges (Medeiros); and her siblings, Antone Borges, Fernando Borges and James Borges.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Martin (Lori) of Cranston, RI and Nicole Abuzarifah (Khalid) of Saudi Arabia; her sister Germaine "Evelyn" Lima of Fall River; her grandchildren, Scott C. J. Martin, Olivia Martin, Nora Abuzarifah and Ghazi Abuzarifah; and her close friend Michael Parker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (709 Hanover St, Fall River, MA 02720).
