He was predeceased by: his father Valmore Guilmette; his daughter Linda Guilmette; and his sister Dianne Moore. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Guilmette (Gagnon); his children, Lori Mota (Roy), Lisa Manuel (Jerry) and James Jr.; his grandchildren, Nicole Gaskin, Kaleigh Mota, Jared Manuel and Hailey Guilette; his great grandchildren, Michael, Aviana, Adrian, Brooklyn, Virgina and Zayden; and his siblings, Richard Guilmette, Darlene Trombley, Marlene Kane, Sharlene Gomes, Donna Dixon, Sharon VanBeaver and Paul Guilmette.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Roger William Cancer Center.
