He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Matteo and Rose Matteo (Prete); and his son James F. Matteo. He is survived by: his spouse Ilda Matteo (Bellucci); his sons, John C. Matteo and Joseph A. Matteo (Paula); his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Joseph and John Matteo; and his siblings, Charles B. Matteo and Rosemarie Pearson.
