She was predeceased by: her husband Harry William Gardner; her parents, Oscar Henry Trudel and Emma Lillian Trudel (Mann); her sister Nancy McDonough; and her grandson Jacob Gardner.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Gardner (Barbara) of Dayton, OH, Sharon Dias of Manville and Jonathan Gardner (Candy) of Johnston; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Jayne, Joshua, Jeannette Gardner and Melissa Decoteaux.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to and St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 70 Pemberton Street, Providence, RI 02908 St. Peter and St. Andrew Church.
