With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary J. DiPaolo-Berger of Johnston, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter A. Berger, Jr.; her parents, Frederick W. Gautieri, Sr. and Emma Gautieri (Testa); her sons, John F. DiPaolo of Cranston and David M. DiPaolo of Cranston; and her brothers, Frederick W. Gautieri, Sr. of Cranston and Anthony R. Gautieri of Providence.
She is survived by: her nephews, Frederick W. Gautieri, Jr. (Cynthia) of Warwick and Steven A. Gautieri (Jeannie) of Cranston; her niece Diane DiPaolo; her stepchildren, Paul W. Berger (Rose) of East Providence, Scott A. Berger (Sherrie) of North Scituate and Christine E. Flint (Michael) of North Scituate; her cousins, Susanne Baccari of Narragansett, Angela Leone (Frank) of Johnston, Richard Landi (Sharon) of Cranston, Connie Landi of North Providence, Gloria Rampone of Florida and John Rossi (Donna) of Virginia; her godchildren, Steven, Diane, Jacqueline and Carol; and her friends, Ronald, Betty Cellucci of Johnston, Dom, Beatrice DiFormato of Cranston, Michael, Nancy Padula of Franklin, MA, Roger and Pat Rivelli of Johnston. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
