It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard B. Moffat Sr. of Johnston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 4, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Moffat and Ellena Moffat (Hill); and his brother David Moffat. He is survived by: his children, Richard Moffat, Jr. (Nicole), Jeffrey Moffat (Sheena) and Bethany Moffat (Dennis Desourdy); his grandchildren, Samantha, Alyssa, Abigail and Jeffrey Moffat; his siblings, Ann Marie Carter, Gail Masso, Marsha VanWormer and Sandra Kelly; and his former wife Carolyn Moffat. He is also survived by his sons and grandkids.
