Richard J. Costello, Jr. "Rick", age 67, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Born in Cranston, the son of the late Richard J. Costello and Mildred M. (Lane) Costello, he was a graduate of Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 1975. Rick worked at Electric Boat as a Machinist for 44 years.
An avid New England Patriots fan, Rick enjoyed traveling, visiting historic sites, being outdoors, working in his yard and garden and classic muscle cars. He loved sitting on the back deck, listening to music and watching the sunset.
Richard is survived by his partner of 18 years, Laura Stiles of Johnston; one daughter, Kimberly Huling and her husband Ernest of Kingston, TN; grandson Brayden Litton of Kingston, TN; brother William Arhendt of IL; sisters Karen Arhendt Gaines of IL, Pamela Costello of FL and the late Linda Frazier and Judith Cooke of R.I.
Funeral services will be private. Contributions in Rick's honor may be made to a charity of your choice.
