With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Chester Shaw Jr. of Johnston, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chester and Alice Shaw (Johnson). He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Capuano (Shaw) of Cranston and Bruce (Sally Shaw) of Cranston; his children, Robin Caprio (Phillip) of Johnston, Michele Manguso (Daniel) of Colorado and Allison Corsini (Jason) of Saunderstown; his grandchildren, Joy and Luke Manguso; and his friend Bernedette Neri Leblanc. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory (571 W Greenville Rd, Scituate, RI 02857). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home (571 W Greenville Rd, Scituate, RI 02857).
