She was predeceased by: her husband Norman E. Schora, Jr.; her parents, James R. Howard and Mary Wylie (Templeton); her grandson Brian Lee Carpenter; and her siblings, Grace Peterson, Jean Howard and James Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy L. Schora of Putnam, Janet L. Hancock (Thomas) of Westport, Massachusetts and Steven C. Schora of Providence; her grandchildren, Heather, Michael and Desiree; and her great grandchildren, Shannon, Laura and Jake.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
