Elaine DaRosa Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 6, 2025, at the age of 101, Elaine DaRosa of Lincoln, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joaquim "Jack" DaRosa; her parents, Manuel John Duarte and Bernice L. Duarte (Stafford); and her siblings, Everett Duarte, Edwin Duarte, Leroy David Duarte and Lorraine Sherman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bernice Simmons (Kenneth) of Charlestown, Valerie Breault (Kenneth) of Pawtucket and Claudia Monstrelis (Peter) of North Kingstown; her sisters, Vivian DeFreitas of Athens, TN and Joan Joseph of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Rebecca Simmons DeMetrick, Cassie Monstrelis Rawcliff, Jesse Simmons, Courtney Breault Guilbert, Jacob Simmons, Philip Breault, Jordan Monstrelis and Alexander Monstrelis; and her great grandchildren, Anna, Jack, Lillie, Charlie, Eva, Ashley, Eiley, Reiko, Izumi, Roman, Julia, Maya, Addison, Chase, Eleanor, Sophia and Julian.
