Helen left this world on October 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy (Barry); her daughter Patricia Boyd Reid; and her siblings, Margaret Mary Cummiskey and Jerome McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Cullion (Joseph) of Cumberland, Margaret "Meg" Bernardi (Paul) of Florida, Jane King (Jason) of Wakefield and James Boyd (Joanna) of Wakefield; her grandchildren, Allison Reid Nathan Reid (Kevin Perreault), Molly Caruolo (Andrew), Dr. Kathleen Cullion (Trevor Cowan), Michael Cullion (Catherine), Paul Bernardi IV (Mia), Julia Barnes (Jeffrey), Jameson Boyd, Daniel Boyd, Andrew King and Charles King; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Henry, Camilla, Campbell, Rocco, Paul V, Jack, Leo, Bowen, Michael and Isabel; and her son Bernard "B. J." Boyd, Jr..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Jude Church (301 Front St, Lincoln, RI 02865). A burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
