He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carr Sr. and Dorothy Carr (Sullivan); his siblings, Judith Carr and Harry Carr; his grandson Liam Carr; and his nephew Charles Carr.
He is survived by: his children, James Lambert Carr III (Michelle), Tara Wood (Amanda), William MacDonald Carr (Helen), Harry Fletcher Carr, Emily Wood (Isaac Morin) and Timothy Stuart Carr (Marisol); his sister Regina Carr Parry (Russell) of Cape Coral, FL; his sister-in-law Paulette Carr (Stu Krous) of Bristol, RI; and his grandchildren, Remi, Emma, Edward, Myer, Claire, Xenia, Irina and Callum.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Jude Church (301 Front St, Lincoln, RI 02865). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
