We are sad to announce that, on April 27, 2025, at the age of 85, John R. Hunt of Lincoln, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margaret Hunt (Salinger); and his sister Margaret Mullen. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hunt (Barlik); his daughters, Kirsten Hunt of California and Robin Trainor (John) of Cumberland; and his grandsons, Justin and Kyle Trainor.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Saint Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, RI 02865 would be appreciated.
