He was predeceased by : his wife Judith Smith; his parents, Ralph II and Olive Smith II (Belhumeur); and his brothers, Ronald and Richard Smith.

He is survived by : his daughters, Pamela Ethier (Donald) of Pascoag and Jessica Smith (David Boisse) of Blackstone; and his grandchildren, Jared, Brittney, Corey Bebeau and Devin Boisse.
