He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Neves and Maria Neves (Pires); and his brother Paul Neves of Cumberland. He is survived by: his wife Ana Neves (Freches); his daughter Kate Neves-DonDero (Josh DonDero); his siblings, Joyce Neves of Cumberland and David Neves (Janice) of Woonsocket; his sister-in-law Terry May Neves of Cumberland; and his nephew David Rebocho of Pawtucket. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Lincoln Lions Club Scholarship Fund.
