He was predeceased by: his father Paul Filion; his wife Mary E. Filion (Fletcher); his daughter Tammy Filion; his granddaughter Jessica Goyette; and his siblings, Celeste Cardin and Lionel Filion.
He is survived by: his mother Pauline Filion (Laferriere) of Manville; his daughters, Dawn Robitaille (Jassen), Jennifer Goyette (Richard) and Lee Ann Healey (Christopher); his grandchildren, Tammy Goyette (Jesus Merced), Shane Goyette, Allissa Robitaille, Alexander Healey, Jassen Robitaille Jr., Jacob Healey, Nicholas Healey and Andrew Healey; his great grandchildren, Troy, Klyde, Kai, Jesus, Kelcie, Jack, Madilynn, Castiel, Hunter and Xander; and his siblings, Roland Filion, Diane Waldron (John), Luc Filion (Michelle), Denise Carroll (Robert), Monique Bilodeau (Eric), Albert Filion, Lise Reichard (Kevin) and Nicole DeMayo (Nicholas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint James Church (33 Division St, Manville, RI 02838).
