He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Provost and Leona Provost (Charpentier); and his brothers, Raymond and Normand Provost. He is survived by: his wife Donna Provost (Narkawich); his sons, Michael Provost (Cheryl) of Lincoln, Robert Provost Jr. of New York City and Kyle Provost (Kerri) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Nichole, Christopher (Nikita), Kyle Jr. and Ziva; and his great grandchildren, Killean and Devon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
