The passing of Patricia G. J. LaChapelle of Mapleville, Rhode Island occurred on September 14, 2026. Patricia shared life with family, friends, and community. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Elliott and Elizabeth Elliott (Foley); and her son Martin LaChapelle. She is survived by: her children, Matthew LaChapelle (Cindy) of Springfield, VT and Michelle Batalon (John) of Harrisville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Boucher Funeral Home (272 Sayles Ave, Pascoag, RI 02859). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (183 Sayles Ave, Pascoag, RI 02859). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Acotes Hill Cemetery.
