We announce the death of Cynthia A. Hart of Middletown, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Cynthia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Cynthia will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Cynthia will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Cynthia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Brian R. Hart; and her parents, William "Teddy" DesRuisseau and Lilly DesRuisseau. She is survived by: her daughter Karyn; her son-in-law Robert Franks (Tom) of Middletown, RI; and her grandson Orion Silva (Sarah Harbick) of Mattapoisett, MA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home (465 Spring St, Newport, RI 02840).
