We bid farewell to Philip M. Connell of Middletown, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Philip touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosalie Connell (Beebe); his children, Dr. William Connell and Jacqueline Patton of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Patton and Kourtney Patton; his parents, William J. Connell and Mary Connell (Malone); and his siblings, William, John, Francis, Mary and George.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home (465 Spring St, Newport, RI 02840). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustin's Church (5 Harrison Ave, Newport, RI 02840).
