He was predeceased by : his sister Hannah Elizabeth Kirby; and his grandparents, Jerome R. Kirby Jr., Helen Kirby and Karen Vaughan. He is survived by : his parents, Jerome R. Kirby III and Kathryn Kimberly Kirby; his wife Tatum Wadensten; his children, Hendrix Seamus Kirby, Halsten Vaughn Kirby and Bailey Kirby; his grandfather Phil Vancil; and his brothers-in-law, Lars, Sven and Magnus Wadensten. He is also survived by His many aunts and uncles, cousins, grand cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (12 William St, Newport, RI 02840).
