Alfred Armstrong Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 100, Alfred Armstrong of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Cranston, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his wife Evelyn M. "Lyn" Armstrong (Weber); his parents, Alfred Armstrong and Edna E. Armstrong (Liddle); his son Alfred Armstrong, III; and his sister Priscilla Armstrong Pearson.
He is survived by : his children, Craig Armstrong of Dedham, MA, Jill Hynes of Narragansett, RI, Gail Cournoyer of Narragansett, RI and Lee Armstrong. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the scholarship he set up in memory of his late daughter; Ms. Lee Armstrong '72 memorial scholarship at the University of Rhode Island.
